Also, pastors have a problem if their home churches elect and re-elect those in positions. For example, Pastor Yevchik knows a pastor with a good business and life. The church elects him for 4 years; after those 4 years, they are not re-elected. Instead, someone else is placed in the position of Pastor. However, for those 4 years served, he lost money, business, contracts, etc. Afterward, a lot are in depression because of this.

“Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles did not even have time to eat.” (Mark 6:31) Pastors are people too, and pastors burn out. Pastor’s Legacy has a dream to find sponsors to do this rehabilitation.
1 Kings 19:4
In 1st Kings 19:4, Elijah prayed to God and asked him to take his life. Elijah, overwhelmed by the challenges he faces, asks God to let him die so he can escape his circumstances. He was a big ministry guy, but one day after an extensive ministry, he fell into depression and asked God to take him away from Earth.

He discovered he did not want to be in ministry anymore. He got sick and prayed to God for what to do. God answered to leave his ministry, give it away to other people, and take care of his health and family.
The Pastor’s Legacy mission is to find such people. Some may need to stop their ministry and take care of their health, personal life, and family. We have to find and explain that God does not like it. God says those who do not take care of their personal family have denied true faith. That person is worse than an unbeliever. (1 Timothy 5:8)
The Bible teaches us to take care of our bodies. Unfortunately, some pastors don’t understand that and do not take care of their health – in ministry nonstop. After they are sick, they give up and do nothing else.
